Trigeminal autonomic headache

This is group of headache disorders in the area of the trigeminus nerv which are located on one side and show characteristics of an attack with additional autonomous and parasympathetic symptoms in the area of the head, for example tearing up of the eyes, runny or congested nose.

The episodic and chronic cluster headache (as described under cluster headache) is part of this group, as well as the episodic and chronic paroxysmal hemicrania and the SUNCT-syndrome (short-lasting unilateral neuralgiform headache with conjunctional injection and tearing).
